STRONG & DURABLE
Our Tongue and Groove composite boards are made with a combination of wood fibres and plastic (90% recycled materials). The mix of recycled wood and HDPE plastic ensures long-term durability with excellent resistance to the elements and insects like termites and carpenter ants. Low maintenance with built in resistance to staining, fading, mold and mildew our boards will not rot or splinter and are not permeable like vinyl so wont stain.
MAINTENANCE
Maintaining your composite fence is easy, simply hose it down with a low-pressure nozzle and for stubborn stains a soft brush with a mild dish soap (Dawn) will help.
The rich tones baked into the Slipfence Composite boards stay vibrant throughout the lifetime of the fence. The color is stabilized by anti-UV additives guaranteeing a less than 5% fade rate for 25 years. Our board profile (Tongue and Groove with waffle hollow core) creates a lightweight but stiff consistency preventing the boards from warping and cracking due to temperature fluctuations over time.
We are currently out of all colors of our composite fence boards, but we expect more in December 2024. If you place an order with a deposit, we will prioritize it and ship it as soon as the stock arrives in a first in, first out basis.
