For all CONCRETE pad installations, all plated posts need to be secured using an anchor. Using a 3/8" concrete bit, pre-drill a hole 3-1/2" deep. Clean out the hole of all dust and debris. Put the post over top of the 4 holes. First, attach the washer and nut to the anchor bolt. Tap the expandable end of the anchor into the hole, the nut will protect the threads as you pound it in, once the washer reaches the post plate start tightening the nut using a 9/16" wrench.
